The concept that I have chose is respect. Respect is a very important aspect in life. I feel that everyone should have respect for everyone else, unless they give them a reason not to. My friends and family all have respect for me, as I do for them. However, I have also lost respect for some people, and I am sure people have lost respect for me as well. I try my best to have respect for everyone. I especially have respect for people who are older than me because I think they deserve it. I respect my parents the most because they’ve given me everything and have taught me a lot.
The reason why I chose this topic is because as time goes on, I’ve noticed, that people are starting to respect people less and less. People in the world are not respecting humans the way they should be. Through time people are not taking into consideration who people are and how they should be treated. They aren’t realizing that disrespecting people is wrong. Also, if you don’t respect other people then you aren’t going to get respect back.
One artist that I found that has done paintings about respect is Paolo Veronese. Aretha Franklin wrote the song respect, which is a popular song. A lot of other songs and poems are also about respect.
